Near Market rentals help people with moderate incomes.
How can this program help me?
In this program tenants pay rent that is at least 10%-20% below
the market rents for a similar unit in Edmonton.
Am I eligible for this program?
CRH has a variety of sizes and types of units, including some
units that are wheelchair accessible.
What else should I know?
CRH Near Market units:
-are upgraded, newer builds
-have dishwashers in some cases
-require a secuirty deposit of $350- $500
-include utilities in some cases
-have balconies in some cases
-are conveniently located near to transit
Income
Verification of current income is required through a submission
of either pay stubs or tax assessment.
Crime Free Multi-Housing Program
CRH partners with the Edmonton police Service to bring the Crime
Free Multi-Housing program to all our properties. The program is
designed to make our apartment and townhouse complexes a more
secure and safer environment for tenants.
Pets
Tenants living in Affordable Housing may be allowed one pet,
such as a small dog or cat. Tenants must complete a pet
application and agree to follow the rules established by
CRH. Tenants are also responsible for paying a $150
non-refundable pet fee.
Service dogs are not considered to be pets. However, the pet
application information and a pet addendum are still required.
Tenants are requested to submit proof of service dog certification
for their dog with the application.

People interested in the Near Market Program may complete the
necessary application forms and submit them
to CRH.
