I don't see an online application on the front page
If the online application did not load for you, please download
a .pdf copy of the application and email, mail,
or drop it off at the CRH main office.
How can I submit my application?
Submit your report cards/transcripts for the 2016-2017 academic
year and this
application form using the mediums below. Scans of report cards
and transcripts will be accepted, however original transcripts may
be required for certification purposes prior to the disbursement of
awards.
How many courses do I need to submit grades for?
We are following the requirements for the Alexander Rutherford
scholarships from the Government of Alberta, so we need grades from
5 courses submitted.
What grades do I need?
The average grade you've achieved across the 5 courses you
submit needs to be 75% or greater.
Which courses can I submit as part of my average?
Here are the qualifying courses for the Alexander Rutherford
scholarships. If a course you would like to submit is not included
in this list, please submit a grade in the fill in courses at the
bottom of the application and it will be reviewed by our panel for
consideration.

What if my English, French, Math, Science, or Social Studies
course isn't listed?
Please use the extra course fields at the bottom of the
application to write in the names and grades of your courses. These
will be reviewed by our panel for consideration.
What are the submission deadlines?
Submissions will be accepted until July 31st.
What if I do not have my final grades by July 31st?
We understand that students may not receive their grades from
provincial exams in time for submission. Please submit the report
card with your grades from before your provincial exams.
What recognition will students receive?
Students will receive a certificate of recognition as well as a
pin commemorating their participation and an invitation to the
awards ceremony.
How can I receive the Alexander Rutherford Scholarship?
The Alexander Rutherford High School Achievement Scholarship is
issued by the Government of Alberta to students entering an
accredited post-secondary institute. Students that wish to apply
for the scholarship can visit the
Alberta Student Aid website. Please Note: CRH is not involved
in the selection or awarding process for the Alexander Rutherford
scholarship.
What if I don't meet the grading criteria?
For the first year of the program we are only focusing on
academic achievement. As the program expands we plan to add
additional categories to recognize other achievements.
